Beware. I have 2 sets of this. While I love using it as a marker, do NOT use where visible. It doesn't wash out. I used it for marking several quilts. I didn't know until I washed them the marks wouldn't leave. I thought chalk would brush off. Unless it has to be removed before washing , which I didn't know, it becomes permanent. I tried every remover in the book. So I only use on areas where it won't be seen.

I've owned the mechanical chalk pencil although the brand name was different. It looks great, but the chalks are very brittle and the colored chalks do not come out. I had a terrible experience with some marking that I had to do on the right side of the fabric. If you Google, many people have been unhappy with this product.

The vendor has let us know that the group's order was picked up and is on its way to our warehouse now. Based on the tracking provided these are scheduled to come in 9/24. Our warehouse team has been forwarded tracking info and will be standing by, ready to get these packed up and turned around as soon as they come in.

Quick update for the group, we spoke to our vendor earlier today and were notified that they submitted the group's order once the drop ended and Bohin is currently producing the group's order right now! They are trying to get everything production related wrapped up towards the end of next week. Once production is completed they will ship the bulk order to our vendor and our vendor will get that order readied for shipment to us.
Once the order arrives with us our warehouse team will get your individual orders prepped and ready for shipment. We will keep in close contact with our vendor and update the group as soon as the bulk order arrives with them.

Thanks again for joining this drop! With your help we were able to make it successful for the community. We've just submitted the group's order with the vendor for the Bohin Tools Set and they are working hard to prepare it for shipment.
As soon as the group's order is ready at the vendor's location, they will send the bulk shipment to our warehouse in New Jersey where our warehouse team will break it up into individual orders and ship them directly to you! The current estimated ship date from our warehouse is 8/13.

I find refills for the extra fine mechanical pen pretty easy to find at fabric stores and also at my local quilt shop. I researched the other less fine mechanical pen and you can buy refills on Amazon.com.
