The Urban Trapper is one of the most popular folding knives in the Boker collection—but it’s still too big for some. Enter the Urban Trapper Petite: a shorter, slimmer, lighter version of the original Read More
I wish I had've ordered three Urban Trapper Petite!
Small but useful size, lightweight but solid, holds a nice edge, flipper is smooth and precise. Clip leaves it nice and deep in my pocket, and the way my kids are eyeing it off I may need to keep close tabs on its location...
I have the Boker the Kwaiken Mini, and the Kwaiken Mini has been my favourite for years. It's in danger from the smaller, lighter Urban Trapper Petite though :)
I really like my Cocobolo Urban Trapper for the sleek lines and smoothness of the flipping action. I thought it was slightly too large for a Gentleman’s folder, maybe not now I have this one. My only issues are; It is slightly too small and I had to leave the pocket clip on (unlike my Urban Trapper) because the scale was held down by the clip screws. I don't know if Boker will make one in-between these two models, I think it would be perfect.
Great little gentleman‘s folder. Very nice little blade and the carbon fiber looks good. Very nice deep carry clip and at 1.1 oz. you can easily forget that it is there.
The knife over all is smallish for a a flip blade, not enough girth. I use Boker exclusively to open cans of snuff and the edge has not held up well. In retrospect I would have bought the larger size that my son bought. More durable and a better feel.
Carry it most every day down here in Mexico! Small, unobtrusive and Sharp! I went with Carbon Fiber Scales which are "rough hewn" compared to my Kwaiken Flipper! This little knife is fast and extremely well put together, no complaints on this one! I just hope I never lose it when riding!
