Looks really cool but (no troll) what's it for?
I'm asking as a Silat and FMA practitioner. I don't really understand what this was designed for?
It's not a standard karambit, obviously, but it's also not an optimal straight edge blade with retention ring either. The Fox Dart seems like a better choice for FMA practitioners that like working the reverse grip.
I've picked up and loved some funny looking blades that I was at first skeptical of (the Yojimbo 2 comes to mind) but this one has me scratching my head.
Bought it a couple weeks ago from a different retailer along with the trainer. Handles well and genuinely usable with a forward or a reverse grip. Like most karambits, it's not going to fit well in giant hands, but it's more workable than most. Definitely my current go to karambit, and having a trainer is extremely nice.
