Failed electronics after 1 year
The brewing electronics failed before even hitting the 2 year mark. Bonnavita states the warranty is only one year and refused to help in any way. Save your money in the long term and look elsewhere for a company who actually stands behind their producs

Fantastic home brewer
The best, bare bones coffee machine I've used. Nothing fancy (no timer, lid doesn't stay on while brewing, etc.) but it makes great coffee really quickly.

After about a month I finally got my delayed shipping of the Bonavita. It arrived safe and sound and guess what, the coffee it makes is just exceptional!! Before now I was using the Yama Glass 8 Cup Stovetop Coffee Siphon mostly with ground Lavazza Rossa (and sometimes grinding B&B Dancing Goats or French Roast) and the coffee was good. Now, with Bonavita, the coffee just tastes so much better that I am not going back. It tastes smooth and rich with no acidity whatsoever. The only less than optimal feature is certainly the screw-on carafe lid which just stands around until the coffee has percolated and you can screw it on. Overall, I recommend this Bonavita model.

Makes a killer cop of coffee. You can also use a chemex carafe if you want

I was a little nervous about reviews on the carafe and the time it stayed hot....it is fine, my coffee is still hot, hot 2 hours later and still warmish many hours later. It is simple and fast and the coffee is good. No regrets!

I'll admit, I was concerned about the open top and space between the carafe and drip basket. But my fears were allayed with the first pot of coffee. I do make a point of being nearby when the audible signal goes off and putting the lid on right away. The coffee is quite hot and stays that way long enough for us to use its contents. I am satisfied I got the best coffee maker.

After years of hating coffee, I gave up and finally started enjoying it. I wanted to graduate from my Keurig so after a bit of research, I found this coffee maker and decided to pick it up. No regrets thus far. It’s very easy to use and brews a great cup of coffee quickly. The carafe is great, too. Keeps my coffee warm through the morning. Highly recommended!

Makes great coffee.
I organize a small coffee club in my office, with ~12 members. We love coffee. We use an Aeropress, french press and now the Bonavita for drip. We strive for quality and the Connoisseur holds up it's end of the bargain.
While you can't quite beat a meticulously fashioned cup of goodness from the Aeropress, you can drink a beautiful cup of coffee. Made under ten minutes with the Connoisseur that is well balanced, free of bitterness and exposes the fruiter side of the beans you have on hand, albeit with a little less character as our other two methods.
Pro tip: Read in the manual about the pre-brew option

makes excellent coffee - has a couple of oddities - you have to put the lid on to pour your coffee out then can't put the carafe back into the coffee makers when you put the lid on it -- tends to continue to "drip" after the done alarm sounds, there is no auto shut off when you pull out the carafe... IT DOES MAKE GREAT COFFEE and makes it quickly!!

Grinds to grinds, much better tasting coffee than any of the drip coffeemakers I've used before, especially when comparing coffee that has cooled off. With my old coffeemaker I rarely drank it black, these days I always drink it black.
With just one button it is simple enough that anybody can brew with it, which results in the carafe rarely being left empty.
It is not without drawbacks, however. One person pulled out the carafe right after the machine shut off, not realizing that it was not finished dripping, for which it needs another minute. Were it refreshed I would like to see the button moved to the carafe's platform where it now is the right side, because of the way the tank opens and the filter tray pulls out, that side is functionally the front. Not being able to keep the carafe on the platform with the lid and the filter tray installed at the same time is frustrating.
Between the taste of the coffee and the one-button brewing, I can't dock a star for the annoyances.
