Thick CPM-3V Blade With Finger Choil
The Guardian 6 from Bradford Knives is a flat-out beast. To start, it’s got 6.5 inches of blade. The steel? A hefty chunk of CPM-3V steel—a high-carbon steel made by the Crucible Particle Metallurgy process, which is designed to hold an edge in situations where chipping and breakage are common. Measuring a fifth-of-an-inch thick, it can take a beating whether you’re skinning, chopping, or slicing. Moving on, the full-tang knife has a grippy handle and jimped spine for a secure hold. The butt of the handle can be hammered for batoning if you need that extra bit of power. As any knife of this stature needs a place to rest, it comes with a ballistic nylon sheath, too.
Note: At checkout, choose between a stonewashed blade with OD green handle, stonewashed blade with G-wood handle, and a black DLC-coated blade with black micarta handle (+ $15).
