I'm sorry but the entire reason the Accutron was an Accutron was because it had an Accutron movement in it. This is a Quartz movement. If you like it, more power to you, but this is not anything like the original Accutron Spaceview watch.

UncleMusketi'd agree, but i wouldn't wear an original as they went out after very little wear, constantly and consistently, and one repair will cost you about as much as this watch. for a collectible you will wear once a week for a few hours, i agree with you, but for an everyday watch you want to enjoy, this will not only beat the original, as a quartz watch it will last a very long time. i am a fan of vintage and manual/automatic movements, but the smooth moving seconds is a step enough closer to the original accutron that, for a usable enjoyable watch, for $200 it is something to consider.

UncleMusketYou read my mind. I've always wanted the tuning fork watch... was disappointed to see this isn't it.

jarrodtrainqueI have an original. Box, paperwork coin and all. 2 things though, 1. It doesn't work. 2. It has an Omega metal band.
Anyone interested in buying? Reply to this post. Otherwise going on the bay.
