$100 cheaper than Amazon, which is a nice deal.
Also there are credible rumors Canon will release a Mark III this year, so definitely something to think about.
I have this and am very happy with it.
Pros: Truly pocketable with image quality that is better than any smartphone. Decent bokeh at the long end of the zoom (real and not fake like iPhone). Amateur vloggers and videographers will love its video performance although limited to 1080p.
Cons: No lens profile yet in Lightroom means your raw files will remain with a vignette and distortion. Better off working with jpegs at times. Also, it does not live in a bubble. The Sony RX100 III is probably its closest rival.
Bottomline: This is for the photographer/videographer who wants to move up from smartphones, but is not ready to lug around an extra bag of gear.
Sample pic attached (post processed with Lightroom).
ArsenicDroneAn International Spec camera does not come with a US warranty and would typically have to be sent back to the country of origin or the manufacturing country for warranty support.
The down side is the cost of postage and the time it takes to ship Internationally.
