Is there a way to confirm the have are mother of pearl and not some acrylic imitation? Current production Case mother of pearl has no shield and Case XX. Peanut msrp is $179 and can be found online at $120. Who can cofirm handle material?
Ed9499At this time Case uses a substance called Kyrinite for their swirled synthetic handles, they do not currently produce an imitation mother of pearl handle material. There IS however an imitation pearl in their Corolon handles but they have not been produced for a few years now. Either way $60.00 is a good price for a case knife.
