The Cayin HA-1AMK2 EL84EH Tube Headphone Amplifier is a warm-sounding (and looking) desktop headphone amp that delivers an impressive response for over-ear audio. Outfitted with five vacuum tubes—one 12DT5 for power regulation, two 12AU7 for signal handling, and two EL84 power tubes to push out the tone—the HA-1 mark 2 is truly well-rounded in the richness department. The second generation of this classic also has Cayin outfitting the device with a handsome wood-tone design that’ll look right at home in a retro-leaning listening setup. You can also enjoy several levels of impedance to map to whatever headphones you’ve got, an impressively solid 100 decibels of signal-to-noise ratio, and plug-and-play I/O with multiple rear-mounted source and pre-out options, as well as dual headphone jacks right on the front.
