RayFThe Q5 is amazing device with great sound quality. It connects to almost anything. My only issue is the static noise when it switches frequencies. Check out headfi for more information.

ridhuankimBecause I could? 🙄 I've been waiting to buy the Q5 for a long time. It also gives me the option to pair with the DPX1A for a warmer sound. I also use the bass boost.

OneLoveI was thinking the same thing but ordered the HA2 before I discovered the Q5. I'll explore the OPPO for a while and see how things proceed. I'm a little limited at this point as neither of the headphone drops I'm in have shipped yet. Chugging along in the interim with a pair of Bose QC35s (noise cancelling off). Listening now to Zappa's "St. Etinne" on "Jazz From Hell." Sounds nice, but I'm expecting more from the HD6XXs or the HD4XXs--whichever gets here first! BTW, I bought the Bose to help drown out my girlfriend/worst nightmare. They're fine for that.

Have too many audio gear and need to get rid of some first but here I am again convincing myself that I need that Q5.
Is it correct that Q5 can pair with mobile phone via blutooth? UsIng AptX? Not the Q5 pairing with blutooth headphones?
I really want to stay away from OTG cables, its always a mess and connectivity problem later on.
I did some research and that seems to be the case but didnt find a solid confirmation.
Can you shed light?

ridhuankimDefinitely receives rather than broadcasts. May not be a big issue while on the go, but at home it means your phone or computer needn't be in the same room with you and your Q5.

ridhuankimI have a Q5, can confirm it pairs hassle free through bluetooth with both my iPhone and Samsung S8. Initial pairing took a bit of time but after that it connects in like 3s each time. Sounds terrific and looks smexy, recommended!
