Sennheiser PC37X randomly goes bad after disconnecting the cable ?
Greetings, Yesterday I was using my headset like normal with my macbook, just listening to music and on a call with people like usual, and the headset was perfectly fine. Just a note that we are aware of Windows 10 compatibility issues and are working very hard to solve them. We will be done shortly. Meantime, the product works very well with Mac and all versions of Windows prior to 10. On Windows 10, ASIO works just fine, so you can already use many audio applications via the ASIO interface. We are working on re-enabling the other interfaces (WinMM, etc.), after Microsoft's "fixes", which broke a whole bunch of audio functionality in Windows 10. A quick scan online shows that most audio products are affected and that most audio companies are struggling to deliver updated drivers. Why Microsoft decided to "fix what was not broken" -- I don't know.
