The Crag Gets an Innovative New Lock
The original Crag from CJRB, a subsidiary of Artisan Cutlery, earned its name from its aggressively angled sheepsfoot blade, like something chipped off the side of a boulder. Now, CJRB has released a new riff on the Crag. Known as the Crag R, this version implements the Recoil Lock: a three-sided mechanism—similar to the Axis Lock—which can be operated by pressing down with your index finger, or by pinching both sides down with an index and a thumb. Offering stability and confidence, the Recoil Lock makes a perfect companion to the D2 blade. Gripping the Crag is easy, thanks to a G-10 handle in your choice of three colors (or you can upgrade to carbon fiber). Built with a ceramic ball-bearing opening system, the knife deploys fast with a press on the flipper.
