My feldspar had a chip
in the g10. Come to think of it one of my bestech swordfish had scratches on the blade from Drop
also. Are they selling B stock to offer price breaks?? Smh
BearcatMattThey must have shipped then because I got mine in the mail today. I actually expected the shipping from China would start the 24th but looks like they were already in the US.
That's a good one. A lot of tools are on the market to do this, with different names, but many end up being so big they can only take the grind angle of the knife blade itself, not the hone angle of the cutting edge that we try to match when sharpening the knife. It's the smaller ones like this that end up being useful.
One day left. No naturals left. Naturally. Hey, droop! Get some more naturals.........and don't raise the price. From looking at the other posts, I am not alone.
Well it is nice to see size options, a little surprised it's not 3" or 3.5" and then 3.75" I'm sure some of the larger blade lovers will be let down but this one runs the safe legal length for many , and it's a nice design with quite a few handle options to boot. For a second label they really have their parent company beat in D2 products.
I only have two artisan knives - both have really bad lock stick. These are the only knives I have with lock stick. CJRB are the budget line of artisan? That does not inspire me with confidence. I'll keep my money. Civivi, real steel, steel will, kizer, ganzo; too many good cheap brands to choose from.
KizerCivivi is no doubt the king of budget blades and are my favorite for the price point owning quite a few . i have owned a couple artisan folders and while there was no issues with my examples i actually prefer the CJRB models over those. Civivi has 3 models around the price of CJRB while they have many models to choose from at that same price. i like variety, trying out new offerings, and at under 40 bucks for a known manufacturer im willing to take the chance and haven't been disappointed yet. YMMV.
i just took a look at KC. They have this for a dollar cheaper and their S&H is less. Sadly, this is a pre-order, so you might not get it any quicker. 2020 used to mean that your vision was great. I can see clearly now that 2020 was a year that really sucked.
RATS! Waited too long and the Natural / Small is gone (/Sad Tear).
"Sir? Can we have MORE please?"

I purchased the small feldspar on ebay almost a year ago. This is a great knife. Superb action. Super sharp right out of the box. Drop's price is nothing special; it's pretty much the standard discount price.
erickongI'm a bit late to the party here, but yes, it definitely flicks open nicely with the thumb stud! At first I thought the detente was a little too strong but I think it's actually by design so that you can flick it open. The pivot is super smooth so it works really well and whips open like a flipper.
