That many people have reviewed this knife there isn’t anything that I could say that would sway you in either direction. It’s a great little slicey edc blade and I love the jade g10 version.
I've been using this knife as my daily knife since I got it. It's been real fun to use and mess around with. Very light and flies open with the thumb stud.
As others noted, it is quite a small knife but there is room for all four fingers.
The smaller size did however require me to learn how to flick it open with the thumb stud.
Fit and finish is good, micarta is nice and it came with the upgraded steel AR-RPM9 instead of 12C27.
Lock up is maybe just 10 percent but I haven't been able to force is closed so it seems fine.
No detent ramp but in this case this is a good thing as it catches the closing blade.
In short, I have nothing to complain about!
Easy to carry due to it's slim profile and a great slicer. Index finger will feel the sharpness of the little indent for the thumb stud when bearing down if you are doing some heavy cutting.
I am not sure if its the ergonomics of the knife, or that my hand is just a little to big for it, but I find it a little difficult to click it open with my thumb. The action is extremely smooth, its just a rough angle for me to get it open. It is absolutely beautiful and very light. Can almost wear it on swimsuit shorts if you wanted.
It's got a nice flat grind, contoured G10, and a very smooth action. The only thing I dislike is the clip, but at least the screws are recessed into the scales.
Nice little knife. Most of my collection are over 3 inches, but I am starting to like the smaller knives. This one was shave sharp out of the box. Perfectly centered. A little hard to deploy, but that could be to large hands. I like the contrast between the black scales and the polished liners and spacers. Deep carry clip is always welcome.
