Product Description
You’d be hard pressed to find a more fun way to test switches than with CLICKEYbits. In fact, though they were originally developed as switch testers, people loved them so much that they started buying them as fidget toys Read More

Looks very nice and clean, cool packaging and the clicky-ness is great, no cons, 10/10.

I originally bought the super clickey last holiday season. Loved it so much! I had to buy a few more. Certainly recommended.

So close to perfect...but still good
The good stuff: - Simple, solid and unique - Take my favorite mechanical switches wherever I want - Annoy my significant other, friends and strangers while feeling sublime The bad: - Switches are glued to a 3D printed foundation located in the center, preventing freedom to customize switches - A little pricey for the lack of ability to switch out switches unless tampered with I have left a review on the 'Tall' version of Clickeybits fidget tester, which has the SA profile keycaps and only comes in the clicky/green switch version. Other than that, they are the same, and it will come down to what switches you prefer. Check out the 'Tall' version for a more extensive review that is the same with the way I feel with these testers. Now to keep this relatively short, I wish the switches weren't glued to the center. I'm more of a clicky kind of guy, so I wanted to switch out the cherry red and black switches for Kailh box navy and jade (if you're like me and you like them super THICC clicks, go for the super clicky version, you won't regret it ;3) for my clear white tester. But thanks to the switches being glued, it required force and some finesse. Very difficult to pop each off without destroying the integrity of the tester. If you decide to do the same as me because you have mechanical switches you love that Clickybits does not have available, you've been warned. You may either break the current switch you're pulling out or end up chipping/cracking the internal 3D printed foundation in the center (check out the pics). I've succeeded in replacing both. I also didn't glue it like it originally was since there were no issues with the switches falling out or rattling. Now this is where I stop. More details in the 'Tall' version review since its the same problem. But that's my biggest gripe. Can't customize unless you mess with it. Other than that, when you have the switches you want in the tester, it is so addicting (I cannot keep myself from fidgeting with it!). Very hard to stop, especially if you're mechanical switch enthusiasts that drool from the sound and feel of the combination of keycap and switch being pressed. (Lol, I hope I'm not the only one that feels that way... :s) Not to mention the fact that you can take it with you anywhere! Now if Clickybits stops gluing switches to the center in their future drops, which I'll most likely purchase again, I'll change this review to five stars, in a blink of an eye~~ Another warning, if you go for the super clicky version and fidget with it with people around, many of them will end up hating you, both strangers and loved ones alike! Sadly, the discrimination against THICC clicks is real :c

Thanks, really appreciate it :3! And I used just a normal switch remover and brute force to remove these. But honestly, I don't think there's another way to remove the switches safely without potentially breaking the base, other than maybe getting a blow-dryer and hopefully have the heat loosen the adhesive? Problem with that still is that the adhesive used I think is super glue, since it looked flaky and dried, and may end up damaging the shell if you do use a blow-dryer. Lastly, some switches weren't glued as much, hence popped off with no problem. Those that were, I could definitely feel it, and has led to a chipped section of the base... Hopefully this helps!

If you're willing to break the switches then probably pulling them out. Maybe something that would dissolve the glue would also work although I don't know if that would also dissolve the 3d printed part or even the outer housing.

Fun and Clicky
It's been really great to fiddle with while watching videos. I got the extra clicky one while my husband got the quiet one, and we were easily able to swap out the keycaps so I could have the pink, purple, and blue keycaps.

They do click. They're awkward to hold and fidget comfortably, not something you grab and mindlessly let your fingers go to town.

It's very nice switch cude for playing around, I can't really give you a test of which switch it better for you although you can feel the tactical bump or hear the click. you need to remove the keycap in order to see which company is the switch (mx cherry or greetech).
I love it (cause I play with it in the office and make some real keyboard noise for time to time)

Despite the inability to change out the switches (without hurting yourself or the tester), it's a fun little fidget toy. Also cool to show friends different options they were unaware of.

Sits so nicely in the palm
it's a perfect size to hold in your palm, and click from all sides. Great clicky too, of course :)
