Couldn’t be happier with this one.. I’ve got several outher “ torch “ lighters for my kit.. and the quality is top of the lot!
My only complaint would be the kid should open a bit wider.. kinda close to the flame. But is a Great buy!!
Just got it. Works good so far. Had Colibris in the past and worked fine for awhile. Don't get it dirty. Last one I had(can't remember the model)but it didn't last long. Hope this one does.
Have been using it for the past few months. It puts out a massive flame and works great. Very easy to fill and the blue level window is a nice touch. A friend of mine has a slightly larger and definitely pricier Boss although that one has the integrated cutter, and this one has the same jet configuration or at least seems to. I prefer to carry this one on the golf course and anywhere I'm going to be smoking outside. No issues but I use Xikar Purofine fuels.
I haven't run into any issues with heat even with a nice long toast. The igniter has been perfectly reliable after a few months of use at least. I've seen some complaints about the carbon fauxber finish, but the description was clearly showing carbon fiber "look" so I knew what to expect. Either way its a good looking lighter. As expected this lighter does burn through fuel pretty quickly but it has a decent sized tank and I find it pretty perfect to get through a three stick night and still have a good amount come out when purging afterwards.
The lighter is a handsome piece with plenty of firepower. I would have given it 5 stars except for the cap getting quite hot if the flame is left on more than just briefly.
