Why does this use Mini USB? That was effectively deprecated by Micro USB, and again by Type C.

pmarksTrue, it's deprecated. The reason I choose to use Mini is that this is a small keyboard that you will most likely move a lot over your desktop. Although Micro can be plugged in + out more frequently, is smaller, newer, etc, the mini connector can handle more physical force which occures when you move it on your desk a lot. If I designed the PCB over again, I would choose type C, but that is something for the Knops Mini 2.0 :-).

PawnerdGood to know there may be a v2.0 with type c. I shall wait for that...
And use my magnetic cable to avoid all the repetitive plug in and out.
