The motherboard doesn't provide bluetooth support so I bought my own Z270 and opted for the no-motherboard option that seems to only be available directly from Corsair for $199. You get the case, the H6 cooler and the 600w power supply.

Have they heard about 8th gen processors and Z370 motherboards?

sky8massdropProbably old stock. Also a lot easier and more economic to get 7th gen processors when I was looking the other day.

Lol $10 off. Hell of a deal... Especially considering the 1151 socket‘s current situation.

Their lack of a availability doesn't change the fact that that Intel is moving on from the 1151 socket. To each their own. I just wouldn't buy it.

orphanmeat34Intel has moved to a new chipset ever two generations for many years. It's not new. The 10th Generation will be out sometime around 2020, at which time AMD will have a new platform out as well, so it hardly matters either way. If someone buys a 7700k today they will be fine for at least four years.

Oh wow a 10$ rebate... what a deal. Massdrop is looking more and more like a basic online shop but with abismal shipping delays, maybe you should get back onto this group buy idea even if it means offering less products because this is getting ridiculous (I mean that's a whopping 2.5% discount, I bet you could just negotiate something like that with a sales rep at pretty much any shop) .

sixelannifTotally agree. I used to be excited to see something I wanted show up on Massdrop. It meant I should be able to get a really great deal.
Now I have come to expect that 90% of the stuff on here is just wasting my time.
If I can go to just about any store that sells the item and get it for maybe 5% more, but free and fast shipping, why do I want to see it on Massdrop?
Maybe sales are up as a result of having an audience seeing more products. But you (Massdrop) are losing the core advantage you had of your subscriber base anticipating truly great deals and being ready to buy when it's something they want.
If you want to run just another curation store, buy a new domain, change the logo, and deploy the same code there. Then invite your Massdrop subscriber base to check out the new store. If only a small percentage of them follow you there, it's a good indication that they didn't care for it here either.
I'm not far from ignoring everything I get from you. When just a few people complain about something, there are many more who don't feel it is worth their time and they just leave.

I have noted this before but I find it highly suspicious when a drop is limited in quantity, as that totally defeats the purpose of a group-buy. I mean such a ridiculous rebate is only to be expected if you plan on ordering as few a 8 units, hell If I was corsair and you approached me with such a stupid business proposal I would probably think you were joking and give you a joke rebate.

Would be great if this is updated to hold Coffee Lake CPUs.
Howdy Everyone,
I am running this exact setup right now.
Corsair Bulldog 2.0 Barebones Kit MSI GeForce GTX 1080 SEA HAWK X Intel Core i7‑7700K 4.2 GHz Quad‑Core Processor Corsair Vengeance® LPX 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR4 DRAM 3466MHz C16 Memory Kit - Red Corsair Neutron Series™ XTi 480GB SATA 3 6Gb/s SSD (x2)
Its a pretty awesome build and I am very happy with it. There were no problems with installation and there was plenty of room for everything. If you have any questions just let me know.
Cheers.

Tex-ArozziI am going to build almost the same set-up, subbing in a MSI GeForce GTX 980 Ti SEA HAWK from my current build and keeping it active as a HTPC with an old EVGA GeForce GTX 750 Ti I found while cleaning my apt.
Any performance advantage that would make or break price points when it comes to Corsair Vengeance® LPX 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4 DRAM 3000MHz vs the Corsair Dominator Platinum or your RAM? I may also have to downgrade to a Intel Core i5‑7600K 3.8 GHz Quad‑Core Processor, any price point between that and the i7-7700K?
The lady might bust my budget even more so I'm hoping to keep my SAMSUNG 850 2.5" 1TB SSD (instead of 500GB) and Toshiba X300 8TB HDD (instead of 5TB). And if I'm a good boy (read: paycheck comes in time) I might just pull the trigger on the MSI GeForce GTX 1080 Ti SEA HAWK X.

Poblopuablowell look at the supported list I am considering picking one up and slapping in my msi 1080 seahawk (on the supported list) it has a 80mm corsair rad stock. The case is well built for a stock aio cooled GPU

I don't get it. So you are buying a product on a site that gets you a discount by buying more than 1 at a time, but you are basically paying the same price as one the retail website. Corsair has this exact same model listed for $399 on their website. You are going to order it here to save 15 bucks? You'll probably have to wait for 3 weeks for this to ship too. They have free shipping on the corsair website too. Tell me if I am wrong, but I am seeing any sort of value in this drop.
