Good news group. We’re glad to report that all of the orders have been shipped out from our warehouse and are now on the way to you. Please allow 24-48 hours for tracking to get into the shipper's system and start updating.

Is it possible to know how the orders are going to be shipped? (internationally)

Half a month has passed from the estimated ship date and it is still not shipped. This is my first time participating in a drop and this is not painting a very good picture...

I've participated in another three drops in the last couple of months, all of them have "arrived" in my country, but because of the incompetence of either DHL or my local postal office ( or both ), I might never see my products (that's on my local postal office), or I may have to pay an exorbitant amount of taxes + fees due to DHL's mishandled paperwork (or whatever are the shenanigans with my local PO).
And it's not like massdrop gave me a choice (their faq states that they usually ship through a partner that handles their packets to USPS in the end, but there's not real way of knowing beforehand without asking). I really don't mind the wait, as I have to wait over a month to get stuff shipped where I live I got used to it, the real worry is IF in the end I'll get what I paid for.
But in the end, It's not like all that is massdrops fault, I just wish they could tell you beforehand whether they are going to ship through UPS, USPS, DHL, etc. All I have left is to suck it up and hope for the best in the rest of my drops.
An update for the group, the order arrived late today. Our warehouse team will begin shipping all outstanding orders tomorrow. It will be their top priority to get them shipped to group members as soon as possible. We will make sure to update the group as soon as this occurs.
Thanks for your patience and expect an update from us on 8/27 or sooner if something comes up.
Has anyone received their drop yet from the most recent one?
Great news group! The vendor has let us know that the second batch of the order was picked up and is on its way to our warehouse now. Based on the tracking provided these are scheduled to come in 8/24.
Sometimes shipments get delayed en route, not to worry as we will keep the group posted throughout the process and notify you all if anything causes delay.
Thanks for your patience and expect an update from us on 8/25 or sooner if something comes up.
An update for the group, the first batch of the group’s order arrived at our warehouse earlier this week and was shipped out as soon as it arrived!
We followed up with the vendor late yesterday in regards to the second portion of the order and our vendor notified us that the delay is due to a material supply issue on the production end. The new fulfillment estimates we received from the vendor was that production will be wrapped up early next week and the batch 2 will arrive at our vendor's warehouse around 8/19. From there they will ship the order to our warehouse where our team will get your orders prioritized and out the door as soon as possible.
We understand that the added wait time is undesirable. If you prefer not to wait please contact us at https://www.massdrop.com/support and our support team will be happy to provide a refund and cancel your order. If you have any comments on how this drop is being handled please also contact us at the link listed above.
Thanks for your patience and expect an update from us on 8/20 or sooner if something comes up.
An update for the group, the first batch of the order has been shipped. This batch contains roughly half of the group’s order. Based on tracking provided these will be arriving at our warehouse by 8/11. Once the order arrives our warehouse team will break up the bulk shipment and ship to the first half of the group.
In regards to the second batch, the vendor will receive their allocation of units on 8/12. They will then ship it to our warehouse where it will be our team's top priority to get the remaining orders shipped.
We understand that the added time is undesirable. If you prefer not to wait the extra week please contact us at https://www.massdrop.com/support and our support team will be happy to provide a refund and cancel your order.
Thanks for your patience and expect an update from us on 8/13 or sooner if something comes up.
Thanks again for joining this drop! With your help we were able to make it successful for the community. We've just submitted the group's order with the vendor for the Corsair Voyager GT USB 3.0 Flash Drive 32GB and they are working hard to prepare it for shipment.
As soon as the group's order is ready at the vendor's location, they will send the bulk shipment to our warehouse in New Jersey where we'll break it up into individual orders and ship them directly to you! The current estimated ship date from our warehouse is 8/11.
Rest assured that we we will provide you all with updated information regarding the status of your order throughout the process. You can expect an update from us by the end of the day Pacific Time on 8/5.
Not really keen on this drop after i noticed postage went from 7 something to 12 something for 2 items that will fit in the 1 package
I have to agree with all the negative reviews. I had one as well and it failed within a few weeks losing very important data in the process.
Are these new or refurbished?
DO NOT BUY THIS IF YOU ARE IN THE UK READ THIS FIRST I bought some $25 headphones from Massdrop and I just got a letter from customs asking for a release fee of £11.50 including an £8 handling charge!! This doubles the cost of the item!!
This effectively makes Massdrop usless for small item purchase in the UK
This flash drive is $34 from Massdrop (inc shipping) which is equivalent to £22 Vat at 20% = £4.40 and customs handling fee at £8 means a whopping £34.40 to your door!
This Flash drive is available at ebuyer for £28 inc immediate delivery, and delivery from Massdrop takes about 6 weeks plus the customs hassle!
The rubber housing on these is a bit of a let down, they do tend to mean the connection between the board and the port gets bent and broken.
I tell you what: "I can always find a better deal than all that I have seen on Massflop, but boy it sure does help me shop right!"
8 brave souls have committed to this voyage as the time of this comment.
Had one of those, it lasted 2 or 3 months then suddenly died... Not recognized by the OS, can't be formatted, I had to ask Corsair for a RMA, they sent me a new one which died within 3 months.
It's a shame cause the name "VOYAGER" made me believe, you know, that it was durable and ...voyageable
AlmightyFalafel
OMG, really?! Maybe I should get the more "durable" one, then: http://www.corsair.com/en-us/flash-voyager-gs-usb-3-0-64gb-flash-drive-b
I was going to get the following one in the 64GB size, but if they do not last very long, I need to go with the one above (and it is too bad, too, because I like how the following one is compatible with many of the more obsolete operating systems: http://www.corsair.com/en-us/flash-voyager-gt-usb-3-0-64gb-flash-drive
I have had a 16GB one of these for many years and it certainly has been able to take some beating... I have had to superglue the rubber back on a couple of times but it is still working.. Never meaured or compared speed as I'm generally not in any wild mad rush :-) a bit more preoccupied by reliability and as I can't complain about my current one I 'take my chances' with this one..
Corsair do make good flash drives but not these rubber ones, so I'll pass on them
IMO I've noticed Corsair flash drives tend to have fast read speeds yet abysmally slow write speeds. For specs like that, I wouldn't mind paying half the asking price and half the size. Because the Voyager I have is huge in comparison to other faster drives. YMMV
I will buy this is if it hits $25.99. Otherwise, kiss my sexy a$$!
I've had the old USB 2.0 ones. They're awful. The rubber casing leads to no real support for the PCB when attached to a computer, so they bend extremely easily. There's also just a few dots of glue attaching them to the rubber casing, so if you don't squeeze down on it while removing from the USB, it might rip the PCB portion out of the rubber casing.
They can take a lot of beating as long as the cap is on, and it's not bent at the seam of the cap and the body.
Come on, you can do better than this... $27.99 today at NewEgg.
Here is a link to a review/benchmark: http://www.everythingusb.com/corsair-flash-voyager-gt-usb-3.0-flash-drive-21419.html Keep in mind your performance may vary according to system specs, a 5400 RPM drive with an old CPU and no USB 3.0 ports will be highly disappointing.
Gents, thank you for the research and links; very helpful and compelling. MD recently has seemingly been recently offering less than decent quality consumer products. Their strengths seen toward boutique and specialty items... But apparently they must make more profit on the crap items to keep offering them. Thanks for saving me a few ducats on this.
These things are absolutely terrible. I've had three of them, two of which had to be RMA'd. Under the rubber casing, there is nothing supporting the PCB, leading to bending and broken connections. Beyond that, even when functional, the speeds were terrible. I'd stay far, far away from this drop.

Their obsidian cases are still pretty damn slick. that's about all they got going for them. The RGB keyboards are ok too.
FastRedPonyCAr
Yea the exterior of their cases is pretty nice I do like their look for almost all models, I also agree the RGB keyboards are okay, they also look pretty rad but having used one it just doesn't feel that great to me. I'm not a fan of finger nails anywhere near aluminum :s, I prefer my filco but the corsair rgb keyboards do look sexy.
Can anyone attest to those "official" speeds?
pixll
Thanks dude. Quote real world performance test in midst of review: "This graph is a bit more telling. Read speeds were certainly fast and in the case of the 32GB Flash Voyager, even faster than what I was able to hit on the synthetic benchmark at an astonishing 141MB/s. But the write speed was absolutely cringing compared to the synthetic benchmarks, only able to write at 65MB/s for the 64GB drive and 34MB/s for the 32GB drive when moving the 4GB file" 34 fucking MB, when my USB 2.0 higher grade does 28 MB. Thanks.....but no thanks..
