No doubt an excellent deal for a high-quality watch, but it's not the type of design I want from Corum. It's really too bad there's so many Swiss watches with a better "minimal" look - for a fraction of the cost.
That said, I would look forward to seeing more iconic Corum watches here, like the Bridge.
DemogorgoWhat Swiss watch can you buy for less than $1200 that pulls off the minimalist look? Mont Blanc's cost quite a bit more, and they are the least expensive I can think of. The German brands are great, but a Nomos or Stowa will cost more. Perhaps a Tourby? Nope, they start at 1200 euros ($1300+ USD). What Swiss watch compares to this at the price? I think the only better deal would be a Seiko Presage, but I already own three of those, and they are all made in Japan (I do highly recommend the SARX033). .
DemogorgoHere is a shot of my TI Bridge Power Reserve for you, because I doubt we will see a drop for one.
I believe the titanium models were discontinued a few years ago. Corum appears to be producing only gold versions now.
SkipPpWhich model do you want? On the Stowa website, all their ETA based and non-chrono options are under 1,000 Euros. Only watches above that range are Unitas based, chronos or LE, as far as I see?
To my knowledge there isn't any "third party" website that sells Stowa watches, as they produce specifically on order, and work with 0 stock, reason why you need to wait for a while before delivery after you order it on their website. Also explains why you can't find any Stowa retailer.
hubert_cumberdaleThat is a stellar watch from a better era of Corum, they seem to have lost their way a bit off late. Wish they go back to innovating rather than shoving bog standard movements into standard cases with "historic" names. Love that watch!
