Sennheiser PC37X randomly goes bad after disconnecting the cable ?
Greetings, Yesterday I was using my headset like normal with my macbook, just listening to music and on a call with people like usual, and the headset was perfectly fine. Im not sure what I did wrong to make it mess up like that as I've always taken good care of it, ive had it for about 2 years and its always just been chilling on my desk, but anywho I thought the cable just went bad and ordered a replacement. The replacement came, and the issue is still persistant, so I am not sure what the issue is I've tried multiple different headsets and the issue is not with the port, and I also tried it with my windows laptop and...

The virtual surround quality is great for gaming and having a dedicated SBX button to switch that on and off for when I'm listening to music is also quite convenient.
Cannot recommend this enough as it has made my audio setup miles easier than it was with an Astro Mixamp, Soundblaster Omni and having to manually switch between the two when switching between console and PC. Also has the added benefit of much better sound quality!
Only issue with using this device for PS4 and PC is that using a mic on the PS4 gets slightly more complicated. I personally use a cheap audio technica usb sound card on my PS4 and plug just my mic into that. I've heard of people using some sort of bluetooth transmitter plugged in to the left of the X7 to chat as well.
