Why do a drop for only the serrated version? Most knife enthusiasts don't even like serrations. Would've been nice to have plain edge as an option.

I'd pay more for aluminum or titanium scales and a better blade steel. Zinc alloy? No thanks. 420J2? Come on. You can do better.

I have owned the plain-edge version of this for about 6 years, and it's a pretty decent pocket folder if you keep it sharpened and if you live somewhere where you need a blade no longer than 3 inches.

Fantastic knife. Already have two more of the CRKT "14K" series. Great knives. Nice weight. Great EDC. Already have the serrated Rainier and joined the drop so I'd have a backup/reserve.

I have this knife and the smaller one in Aus 4 or 6 and its not great but I suspect 420j2 is better. I like the design and feel but I'd like to see it in Aus 8 or 9cr13mov steel with aluminum or g10 handle scales.
