Designed by Florida-based knifemaker Steve Jernigan, the Torreya looks like something your grandfather may have carried on a hunting trip. It features a 3.6-inch utilitarian drop-point blade for versatility in the field. Made from 7Cr17MoV stainless steel, the blade is highly resistant to corrosion, which may be necessary when skinning and cleaning animals in the outdoors. A liner lock makes for security when opened. The handle, made from resin-infused fiber (that looks more like wood than anything else), is significantly heavier than the blade for added control. Though the knife is absent of a pocket clip, it comes with a nylon sheath for belt carry.
