To give this drop a better chance of succeeding next time, could you please include a full color chart? I had to cross-reference the manufacturer's website and various fountain pen blogs to figure out what some of the ink colors were. Not everyone's going to bother doing that work.
Isn't there a color chart? Even looking at the colors is going to take me more than 5 days !!!!!! :(

Does it work with regular ink nib pens or does it have to be fountain pens?
Thank you.

Awaiting delivery! While the group's order is on its way to our warehouse in New Jersey now, we've just learned that a minor clearance delay has prevented the shipment from arriving as early as originally anticipated. Rest assured, we've prioritized this shipment with our receiving team and will work to have individual packages turned around as quickly as possible once delivered.

Expect another update from us on 11/10 or sooner if something comes up.

If you have any questions, please visit our Help Center (https://massdrop.com/helpcenter).
An update for the group, we spoke to our customs broker earlier today and were notified that the order is still awaiting clearance at customs. We had our broker and vendor make sure that all the paperwork was in order and it looks like customs is just running a bit slower than usual.

Admittedly neither our broker nor customs could provide us a clear release date for the shipment. We will remain in close contact with our broker and update the group with an ETA as soon as the order is released.

We understand that the extra wait time is both frustrating and undesirable. Group members who no longer want to wait for the order can contact us at https://www.massdrop.com/support and our customer support will be happy to cancel your order and process a full refund.

Thanks for your patience and expect an update from us on 11/4 or sooner if something comes up.
Bulk order shipped! The vendor informed us that the group's order was picked up and is on its way to our warehouse in New Jersey. Based on the tracking provided, the order is scheduled to arrive on 10/24.

Expect another update from us on 10/25 or sooner if something comes up.

This order will arrive to your facility on/around 10/24? Or is this when all mail goes out? Thanks!
The vendor is still working on preparing the order for shipment. Based on new estimates the bulk order should be on its way to our warehouse by the end of the week. As soon as the order is on its way we will make sure to update the group with the estimated date of arrival.

Thanks for your patience and expect an update from us on 10/14 or sooner if something comes up.
Just about there! We've been in touch with the vendor regarding the group's order and they've let us know that they are still working to gather and pack the group's order for shipment to our warehouse in New Jersey. We will continue to check in with them throughout the fulfillment process and update the group again as soon as everything is en route to us!

Expect another update from us on 10/11 or sooner if something comes up.

If you have any questions, please visit our Help Center (https://massdrop.com/helpcenter).
Awaiting confirmation! We are still in contact with the vendor and just awaiting updated shipment estimates from them. We have a call scheduled first thing Monday morning and should get a bit more visibility in regards to when we can expect these in our warehouse.

Expect another update from us on 10/4 or sooner if something comes up.

If you have any questions, please visit our Help Center (https://massdrop.com/helpcenter).
Thanks again for joining this drop! We have submitted the group's order with the vendor for the De Atramentis Scented Inks (4-Pack) and they are working hard to prepare it for shipment.

As soon as the group's order is ready at the vendor's location, they will send the bulk shipment to our warehouse in New Jersey where our warehouse team will break it up into individual orders and ship them. The current estimated ship date from our warehouse is 10/18.

We will keep the group updated throughout the fulfillment process. You can expect an update from us by the end of the day Pacific Time on 10/1.

I have vanilla scented ink. I do not smell anything but I notice when I write letters, my dog licks her teeth like its meal time. 😜
I had patchouli in a Noodler's Konrad for months with no ill effects, it didn't even dry out or hard start after a couple months of no use and it cleaned up just fine. Plus, even now, about 9 months later I can still smell the ink when I open that notebook! I love it!
reviews state that it take 30 seconds + to dry. No thanks.

They look beautiful in the page though. That sample illustration is lovely; but yea, I'd go nuts with such a long drying time if I'm using the pen to write notes (which is what I do the most with my pens, go figure).
scented? Ehh I'll be honest I buy ink for how it looks and writes, not how it smells. How bout some KWZ?
I'm skipping these. I bought the pine one some time ago and it destroyed an ink sack on one of my pens. I'd be careful not to use that one with anything but a converter pen -- not even a pen with an internal piston, or even a eye-dropper pen. I can't speak to the other 'flavors' but I suspect they are probably all pretty rough on seals.

Thanks for the detailed reply. That definitely seems like something in the ink reacted with the sack. Do you recall what scent you specifically used? I'm curious enough at this point that I may go buy a seal (like one used in piston fillers, maybe one like in standard noodlers), drop it into the ink, and let it sit for awhile. Then test it after say 2 days, then around 7, then around 21 days. If there's no change, then I'm curious about the material in that sack. Considering it's meant for fountain pen ink, it has to be reasonably durable. I assume that when you got the pen, you used another brand of fountain pen ink before using this one?

If you're worried about exposing too much through these comments, there may be a way to send a direct message, although I'm unsure of how to do it.

It was definitely the Fir scent, that was the only one I bought. It was also a new vinyl sack. Yes, I had used both Waterman ink and Iroshizuku in that pen.

For all I know, it may be fine with seals that are... cork, or some kind of plastic or rubber. I know a lot of people use these inks without having any issues.
