Like any decent diver, the DayNight by Deep Blue is designed for two things: durability and legibility. That’s why it’s fitted with tritium, a radioactive substance that offers the ultimate in illumination. That’s also why it’s made with an anti-reflective sapphire crystal, for added resistance to scratches, and a polycarbonate case, for excellent durability that won’t weigh you down. And for divability, the DayNight offers 200 meters of water resistance and a 60-click unidirectional bezel, which is appointed with raised Arabic numerals in increments of five.
Note: At checkout, you’ll have your choice of eight different styles.
With the exception of the 3 o’clock position, which is fitted with an outlined date window, the watch features Arabic numerals at the hour positions. All positions are also appointed with luminous hash markers: An orange tritium tube sits at 12 o’clock, and green tritium tubes sit at the remaining 11 positions. The syringe-style hands are also lumed, in orange, and at the 12 o’clock position of the bezel is a green tritium pip. Use the large, semi-shrouded crown at 3 o’clock to set the time and date.
