I wanted to let you know that we have the 111 units on hand in our warehouse so there won't be any issues this time around! The drop will be launching tomorrow, Tuesday, 7/26 at 6am pst.
Just want to follow up on my above remarks... Thank you, I received the refund yesterday. Still I think the transaction history should show all past activity of the user.

Hi @Sa58, Thank you for following up and we really appreciate the feedback! I just heard that all past activity remaining in the transaction history is definitely on the roadmap. Yay!
Record of this transaction has been removed from my transaction history. I think it would've been best to just update the status from Shipped to Cancelled or better yet Refunded. I haven't notice a refund to my card yet so the drop is most certainly not rectified. And had I not kept the emailed recipe from last month I wouldn't even have an order number to reference. Please respond with what I can expect to happen going forward. Thank you!
Slightly cranky about this situation as I passed up a few solid bundles waiting for this to arrive, but also understand that vendors let you down sometimes. Seems like Massdrop was trying to do the right thing. I will jump in again if this is offered. Update 6-8: Refund posted yesterday, Thank you!

I have to say I wish we'd had the option to wait as well. I appreciate the quick service and I know I'll get an email when the drop is back. My problem is that I don't always go through all the sales emails for several days at a time so I sometimes don't even see them until they're done. :( No solids for summer!
My first time on Massdrop and I'm not impressed. You've had my payment for over a month. I appreciate the apology but we all should be rewarded for taking the chance of ordering again if an when you are able to arrange another drop.
Although my first reaction was that I wouldn't mind waiting. I appreciate Massdrop for drawing a line in the sand and holding vendors accountable to only offering deals that can be met as stated. All parties lost...be it faith, sales, or time. This was one of my first orders and I appreciate the open communication and if canceling this order is a way to make these deals better in the future than I applaud that decision. When will the refunds be issued? I'm assuming only those who have received tracking information got their orders fulfilled? Thank you, looking forward to participating in future drops!

Hi All, There's no beating around the bush; this is a crappy situation. I can give you a little more visibility into what happened as I've been in touch with our vendor but unfortunately it won't change the outcome. The manufacturer input the wrong item number in their system when we first checked on the availability. When they shipped the second half of the order, it was for a completely different item which is why it resulted in a backorder. The 4-6 week time frame they gave us is due to the fact that they have to track down all the fabrics and then cut them for the boxes. It's been our experience with fabric orders that the time frame they give us is best case scenario and more often then not, it's usually another 2-3 weeks. Based on that and knowing that members have already been waiting we decided to cancel the orders so we didn't have to come back with more bad news. I want to make sure we don't disappoint twice.
I realize this stinks and we will do our best to make sure it doesn't happen again. As Peter stated if you have any additional questions or concerns please reach out here or you may contact support.
How many people are actually being cancelled? The pervious update stated that many were already sent out.
While extremely unhappy with the wait time considering the fact that there was an order limit, I also would have preferred to get the option of waiting.
I'm really unhappy about this. I'd been looking forward to this purchase and think that Massdrop is not a reliable way to purchase these kinds of items. I won't be a customer from now on.
So sad this was cancelled. I was so excited to Finally be getting it.

Throughout the drop process we have been working diligently with our vendor in order to make sure that everything is on track for fulfillment for the Modern Solids by Denyse Schmidt Fat Quarter Box Set drop. However, our vendor has informed us of a backorder and that the manufacturer does not have the units on hand to ship to us at this time and they are in need of an additional 4-6 weeks to have the fat quarter boxes made.
While we know waiting for well priced items is something that our members sign up for, we think the additional wait time is unacceptable and we are sorry to inform you that we have made the difficult decision to cancel the remaining orders. All orders will be canceled and refunds applied to your payment method within 1-3 business days.
We will be offering this drop again once the product comes in and if you would like to get in on the drop, please hit the request button and you will be notified.

I would have preferred a choice to wait or not. I do t always have time to check my email. It can be weeks without time to check my personal email and I may miss this next time around.
So disappointing!! It's been a month since I ordered this. I have found the same pricing on other sites without the delays. If you need something fast, this is not the place to order. Slow, slow,slow. I have to come back to the site to see what I ordered because I don't have it in my hands. Did I say, "so slow?"
The group's bulk order arrived earlier to our warehouse in New Jersey and many of the individual packages have already shipped back out. However, upon taking inventory of everything received, our team was made aware of a backorder.
