Brand new from DJI—and available now, on Massdrop, for pre-order—the Mavic takes drone flight to new heights with a flight-control system unlike any other. Thanks to sensors such as ultrasound, GPS, dual redundant IMUs, and a ground-facing camera, the Mavic is not only an expert at collision avoidance but a trove of telemetry data as well. It’s also an indispensable companion for aerial photography, with the Mavic Pro camera mounted on a three-axis gimbal stabilizer. And all of it can be controlled via DJI’s GO mobile app, allowing for tap-based commands via smartphone or other device.
Note: This drop is for the DJI Mavic Pro. At checkout, you'll have the option to upgrade to the DJI Mavic Pro Fly More Bundle (+ $270). This Drop is limited to domestic shipping only due to carrier’s policies on the shipping and handling of hazardous materials overseas.
Capable of relaying a signal of more than 4 miles line-of-sight, even supporting 720p HD video from this distance, OcuSync Transmission Technology scans available frequencies for the best signal with the last interference. Plus, it works in tandem with DJI GO to deliver telemetry data and enable photo and video as you fly. And with 27 minutes of flight time per charge, the Mavic offers not just range but longevity.
With ActiveTrack mode, which recognizes common objects and follows them on command, you’ll be able to follow your subject, fly alongside your subject, and train the camera on your subject wherever you go. With Gesture mode, your hand signals tell the Mavic what to do: Raise your arms, and it’ll follow you; make a box with your fingers, and it’ll take a photo. Meanwhile, Tripod mode commands the drone to fly at a speed of just 2.2 miles per hour, allowing you to capture your subject at the perfect moment. Still, the Mavic is as quick and agile as smaller drones: Sport mode sets it in motion at up to 40 miles per hour.
