Purchased these keycaps for my partners first custom keyboard. Very impressed with the quality compared to my own Signature Plastics SA set. The colours are very vibrant and look great in person. The legends are clear and have good contrast. The texture of the caps is smooth and comparable to my Signature Plastics SA sets, personal preference if this is to your liking or not. They shipped in plastic trays that are a much greater quality than the new GMK packaging! Overall very impressed.
These caps honestly look better in person than in the pictures. The colors are an absolute homerun. I was a little nervous they would be too bright/neon, but the colors are bit softer than they look in the pictures.
This is such an awesome looking colorway in person and it really fits with that cyberpunk vibe. I was worried the keys would be a little too neon, but they're slightly muted from the renders. And that's a good thing. The colors play really well off of each other and I just can't stop staring at them. I knocked a star off because the space bar keeps sticking a tad on the GMMK compact and I'm not sure what the deal is there. Doesn't feel like it's coming back up all the way and I haven't had this issue with other sets.
Ultimately though, I love this colorway, it looks spectacular and it has such a good vibe in person.
KhodiakThanks for the awesome photos of this set! What's the underlying keyb and switches? I see some lovely RGB coming through, was worried that my DROP ALT RGB wouldn't be visible :(
theshepsThank you!! This set definitely hits that Cyberpunk vibe perfectly. I went with the GMMK Compact with some Kailh Box Jades for a super clicky feel. The RGB is definitely muted (as these aren't shine through), but they do show up more than I anticipated from the set.
Overall, I've had it for a while now and I really enjoy it.
So no one else makes this mistake, but there are keys missing for them to fit a ISO board, which is disappointing. Granted I should have known better, but I am very new to this world.
The quality is top notch, and the coulurs are amazing.
Update, I got creative.
Missing Keys in All-In-One set in 3 different packages
Originally ordered the All-In-One set in December last year, currently on my 2nd replacement (3rd package) and still have not received a package with all the keycaps advertised in the All-In-One image (14/19) on the product page. The keysets missing are the Ergodox keys, alternate spacebars, Norse keys, and Planck compatibility kit. Cannot remotely recommend this product if this sort of production error is this prevalent at this price point.
I bought these caps alongside the SA Oblivions and even though they're similar in price for a complete set, the quality is much better. They have the same smooth finish and material quality as the Oblivions but don't have any of the rough edge finishes.
As others have said, this set still missed some keys to fit all keyboards. But the quality is good.
Minus points because my set is missing the J key and has 2x L keys instead.
