Product Description
Inspired by French baker’s racks of old, these stands put your cookware on display while offering easy access. Standing like a tripod, they taper upwards from the base, so your large pots and pans will sit on the bottom and your smaller ones on top Read More

Quick question.....the specs states “riveted steel” but also “requires assembly” in another section. Is it a 1 piece stand or assemble at home from multiple pieces?
TJG-MDSorry for the confusion here. They do require assembly with allen bolts (included) and are shipped flat. The riveted version comes fully assembled. We updated the description.

First thought that came to mind when I saw this was stumbling into the kitchen from bed some evening and inadvertently knocking the whole mess over--what a racket that would make--definitely not safe around the likes of me!

Biting, insightful amateur psychoanalysis here. I'll admit it - I never saw the "sad basement dweller" thing coming. Mind. Blown.
Alternately... RayF might be being what people of my generation refer to as a "smart-ass." I think that's even the international smart-ass winky symbol thing he's doing there with the semi-colon (it's subtle, like a secret handshake)
Smart -asses are the societal counter-balance to humorless, self important bores. A critical component of the digital ecosystem, they can do amazing things like somehow getting people to bring 20 week old posts with no activity to the top of my feed

It would be helpful if they'd show a close up of the hammered texture and finishing of the steel since that and perhaps being hand crafted are about the only features I can think of that could justify the high asking price of what otherwise appears to be a fairly simple metal stand.
Looks like an interesting idea if you happen to have a rustic/country style kitchen with room to spare, though I'd expect it will require extra cleaning compared to a cupboard based storage solution.

These are terrific, functional stands in addition to being decorative. We have an 8-tier stand in the corner of our kitchen that is used to hold cast-iron Dutch ovens and pans ... plus a potted vine plant on top! Although not included in the drop, Enclume also makes wood ”shelves” for these stands, graduated in size and grooved on the underside to hold them in place on the crosspieces. We also have these and I recommend them, as they add further stability.
Please note that this is the riveted stand, I.e., one piece. Don’t confuse this with the bolted stands, which are not as secure.
