Product Description
From the oversized crown and industrial-looking lugs to the five studs around the case, the Eterna Royal KonTiki has a bank vault–style look to it. Capable of tracking two time zones and the date, this 42-millimeter automatic is highly functional, too Read More
Just to be clear. The strap isn't 20 mm since it's an Eterna proprietary strap and it's more relevant to specify what is it made from (silicone vs Rubber). Nice watch but you guys really need to step up you'r game. Just in case you're looking for a watch guy that also knows programming and understands the market, I'm you'r guy. Cause the team you're running ain't really doing that of a good job as far as getting us hot deals or even describing these watches correctly.
But seriously, if you're looking to hire a person with web development skills, content supervisor (for a big content recommendation company hint hint ;) ) and in addition a watch geek, let me know :)
The rubber strap is really soft/flexible and comfortable - just don’t know why they chose to use a standard buckle instead of a deployant?? I previously owned the silver and PVD models on rubber. Wish the bracelet was an option here because it looks amazing.
I wonder why many say it is to big. I have a very small wrist 18,5 cm and it fits well.
I´m owner of a rare prototype modell of the Royal Kontiki Date, but it has the same size of the "GMT".
The design of this watch is a homage to the 1976 Royal Quartz Kontiki, and not to a IWC Ingenieur.
I think more important is the lug to lug size, than the real diameter of the watch.
Hello, believe me in Europe its small. I have to put out 4 pieces of the bracelet and it fits loose.
If i want it tight, i have to take out one piece more and with 5 pieces out of the strap its more than small.
When i wear watches with leather strap, i have to use the last whole or the second one.
Well, I had to pull the trigger on this one. I collect GMT watches and this one is very unique, I'm not big on rubber straps but I guess I'm going to have to live with it. The only place that has this watched discounted was for 1799... so I think its a good deal.
Yeah, just wondering if it's the GMT hand or the hour hand that jumps hours when setting. If this has an hour hand that can be set when traveling and the GMT remains at GMT or home time, then that would be an amazing feature in a watch at this price.
