got in on the drop and finally used them this past Friday. I should have used them on 7 April when I went to see The Damned. I had a ringing right ear for at least a day, if not two after the show. I did pop them in for The Pixies and while I didn't have ringing in my ears, the sound was muffled a bit. Not as bad as the foam earplugs would have done, but more muffled than I expected. I picked up two pairs (one for the wife and one for me) and she stated that they helped, but her ears still hurt. I should mention that we were in the 5th row, and a gigantic speaker stack was about 15 feet in front of us.
