9/21 driver update to v3.66: Fixed the issue of pop-up windows when opening the driver
Hello Everyone
I just downloaded the instructions and newest driver of this keyboard form their QQ group, and translate those files to English from Chinese. also uploaded to google drive of course, u can download and read them if you need.
Here is the google drive link: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1ZNx9hZB4a4jNYKizDceMnXhepa0q2pr-?usp=sharing
If they update the driver in the future, I will upload it to this Google drive folder
hope this help and hope u guys have fun with it :)
guys、i asked the vendor in China yesterday , they said they already dispatched the goods、so those keyboards are on the way to US now. And it was delayed about 1 week due to the pandemic.
I figured it out guys. So the google drive link that's being thrown around has the correct download for the drivers, but there are a few hurdles to overcome since all of the files are in Chinese. (https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1lV6L_eZ2tS6Ii06nGPoohFjj9j2rM1TK)
First hurdle: Not being able to open the file after extracting it because of potential virus threats
Go into your windows settings and disable your Real-time protection under the Virus & threat protection settings
Once this is disabled, download the zip file
Second Hurdle: The file name directory name syntax is incorrect
The first solution I found, said to move the downloaded .exe to a new file location, but this didn't work. However I felt like this was worth mentioning
The actual solution was to rename to the file to something else, since it originally saves the file name in Chinese
Third Hurdle: Installing the driver
Once you run the .exe, you'll be met with a window with unreadable characters. Here I tried my best to click through and install it correctly
When you get to the screen with a file directory, browse your files and choose the location you want it saved
When you're prompted to select another file directory, I instead clicked the check box at the bottom left and was able to skip past this screen.
From there you should be able to click your way through and finally install the driver
The driver software seems to work fine. The only things is that everything is still in Chinese. My keyboard became reactive with my computer audio immediately after having the driver software open though.
Edit: I just realized there's an English option in the top right corner on start up
Yes, there should be software you can open after installing it. Go to into your file explorer and find where you installed it. There should be an application that says "GouDanDriver". I don't think it automatically runs itself after installing. You don't need to install the DS store.
Here's a picture of what should be in the folder. https://puu.sh/GCZk9/0891062e78.png
CherrE8VanshI just got an email that it's delayed a bit... That's so sad but I'm going to wait. I really was looking forward to this one and it's going to go great with my other stuff design-wise!
