For proper adventuring, you need the right gear. Men's Karl Trousers by Fjällräven are low-cut, regular-fit pants built to endure the trail ahead. Constructed with pre-shaped knees and infused with Greenland Wax for wind and water resistance, they are comfortable, easy to clean, and don’t chafe or tear easily. Karl Trousers Regular are made of G-1000 material and have a map pocket, a tool pocket, and four additional pockets to keep things handy and organized. Karl Trousers have the same features but are cut 2 inches longer. Karl MT Trousers are made with MT material and have an additional pocket. Karl Zip-off Trousers have detachable legs.
Note: At checkout, choose the Karl Trousers Regular in black, dark navy, ochre, or sand (base price), the Karl Trousers in uncle blue (base price), the Karl MT Trousers in light khaki (base price), or the Karl Zip-Off Trousers in dark gray or light khaki (- $10).
Founded in 1960, Fjällräven was inspired by a young man’s treks in the mountains near the small town of Örnsköldsvik. Dissatisfied with the gear available at the time, 14-year-old Åke Nordin began making framed backpacks in his basement using his mother’s sewing machine, and later expanded to tents. Today, the company applies Åke’s commitment to functionality, durability, and dependability to a range of products. “Fjällräven” is Swedish for “Arctic fox.”
