Sorry if this has been asked and answered, but does anyone know/tested these vs actual Clear pads? Are they sonically equivalent? Interested because I'm thinking of picking up the Clears but those light grey pads are bound to get dirty! If these sounded the same I'd buy them.

tholtApparently the Elex pads have a little thinner fabric on the part that touches your ear, so it's slightly different. I've heard it sounds pretty similar, though, so should be good? Definitely shouldn't show as much wear as the gray clear pads, but might also be less durable.

tholtI have both and they are pretty much the same. I can't tell the difference in sound and whatever material differences are so minor I can't really pinpoint that either.
