Product Description
Fortuna watches are precisely crafted in Germany. With a slight retro lean, they harken back to the golden age of the 1950s, when sporty, bold watches could be found on the wrists of big-time stars and common folk alike Read More

For the money, great quality especially the strap
I bought this largely for what seems like a very good quality strap, and a low priced, but handsome well made watch to go with it, and I have not been disappointed, I hope to see more from this company and more choices in colorways and options next time. I got the green dial colorway as it had the only brown leather strap, the black leather with blue stitching did not look appealing to me, and i would have like to see the blue dial on brown leather in the Drop as well, although I am quite happy with the green, it looks even better in person.

Checks a lot of boxes for $129!
So just got my watch in today. Nice and big which is great for me. I bought the red on the Milanese style bracelet. Has the NH35, screw down crown, sapphire crystal. It says anti-reflective but not sure how well that works. I wanted the red dial as I've been looking for a nice red dial watch for a long time. Overall, the watch doesn't blow me away. The dial doesn't have the richness I was really hoping for. A $100 Bambino still just seems to always look so expensive. This just has a sunburst effect and that is pretty much it. Still, it will get a lot of compliments, I'm sure. The case is brushed on the sides, but around the bezel is polished. Also, kind of annoyingly, the case between the lugs is also polished. With the polished lug, they reflect off each other and are a little confusing, visually. The hand set is underwhelming. With the printed indices and numerals, the hands aren't flush enough to the dial, looking a little cheap. The second had, however, goes out to the white edges where the markers are. A white diamond head leading to a red tip looks fantastic. At $129, this watch is a fantastic value. My nitpicks are minor and I do love that I have a red dial(until I get my Direnzo D3 in September, anyway) automatic watch.

So far, so good!
First off, I really like the overall design of the watch. When I originally ordered I was a little bummed I couldn't get the black/white dial with a leather band and wasn't sold on the mesh band, so I went with the green face. One other thing to note is that I'm a sucker for red dipped seconds hands, so this one really tickled me in the right spots. At this point, I've only worn the watch a few times, but so far I can't find anything to complain about. This is my first watch with a screw down crown, so that was a bit of a learning experience...glad I tried twisting before getting the pliers out! The strap is comfortable, though as other reviews have noted, it appears to be sized for giants. I am able to use the 2nd to smallest hole on the strap comfortably on my ~6.75" wrist. Overall, the watch feels like it wears a little smaller than a 42mm, likely due to the white outside ring that brings all of the numbers in toward the center of the face a bit. The green face has a metallic sheen and really pops in the sunlight or bright lights. When looked at indoors or at a steep angle the face appears to be almost a flat black. The lume seems a little weak. It's clear, but when I was passing through rooms, I noticed it didn't hold very long. I haven't had it out in short sleeves and good sun yet (the image below is shortly after a charge under a LED in the house), so that might be a little better than indoor lighting. Without an intentional charge, I wasn't able to get any lume out of it and even this charge faded after about 5 minutes.

I am very happy with this watch.
I ordered the Robin and it looks great, and fits for a formal setting. It keeps time as it should and I am very happy with it. The weight is good, the size is comfortable and it wears great. It doesn't feel like a brick on my wrist but feels like it was built heavy duty. I would buy another if I could.

Loses a few hours a day
I have emailed the manufacturer, created a support request on their website and informed Drop of the issue. As of now (a month or so after receiving the watch) I have no resolution and am stuck with an unusable watch.

Worth it for the price.
A NH35 automatic movement (with hacking and HW) sapphire crystal, signed crown, and all that for less than 200$, so you can't really go wrong with it. A true VFM. Not much to say about the look as it is strictly individual, but I like the blue and white combination, and sunburst is always fun (though sometimes it feels somewhat lacking). My only beef is with the strap. Not a fan of 22mm straps, I find them too wide to my liking. But the main issue of the strap is that it's just huge! I don't know for whom this strap is made for but my wrist is about 18cm (about 7in in pants-on-head-retarded imperial system) and even on the last hole it spins on my wrist... Must punch new holes unless you're the Hulk.
