I ordered the Mahogany model on March 25. When the switch to Purplewood option was presented, I started trying to switch exactly when the Purplewood drop started, hoping to make the first 300. But because the process for making the switch wasn't obvious, it took several minutes to accomplish,, and by the time I got back to the drop, about 311 people had joined. So I have no idea if I made the first 300 or not, but I was very early in the drop in any case. When I noticed on Friday they were already shipping, I looked at my "transaction" and it said Order Placed With Vendor Shipping August 16, no tracking info. I thought I had been promised by Massdrop in the discussion that the remainder of the units would be shipped early this week. Since "Order Placed With Vendor" hardly seemed to represent the actual facts, I contacted support and got a computer generated message that my "request had been updated". I looked again at my transaction, and it still said "Order Placed With Vendor" but they just deleted any promise with regard to shipping date, August 16 or otherwise. I contacted Customer Service again, requesting .

HonusBlackwellThey really need to do something about that automated "request has been updated" email that is sent after you email them. It made it appear to me that my concerns were being addressed when in fact all it means is "our computer has received your email."

HonusBlackwellIt's small comfort but I'm in the same boat at somewhere around 270. Maybe they're just getting to the lower numbers last (the number 2 upthread not included).
