Sennheiser PC37X randomly goes bad after disconnecting the cable ?
Greetings, Yesterday I was using my headset like normal with my macbook, just listening to music and on a call with people like usual, and the headset was perfectly fine. I have modded mine, with dampening inside the cups, but did not go for silver cables as TH-X00 for sure does not need anymore brightness. I use Sony Kimber Cables, which are copper and are relatively neutral. Plus they screw on the Lumberg jacks I used.
The most important aspect for me was to get rid of the vacuum cleaner style original cables though. Anyway, I love the result.
I use Dekoni sheepskin pads, which do not change the sound much, but do increase comfort hugely.
