Sennheiser PC37X randomly goes bad after disconnecting the cable ?
Greetings, Yesterday I was using my headset like normal with my macbook, just listening to music and on a call with people like usual, and the headset was perfectly fine. The stock wire that came with the headset is extremely long and yesterday it annoyed me very much that it kept getting tangled with itself, so I decided to see if the cable is replaceable. I pulled out the cable from the headset and saw the adapter, and looked online for a replacement. Upon plugging it back in, the audio sounded extremely muffled and washed out. Im not sure what I did wrong to make it mess up like that as I've always taken good care of it, ive had it for about 2 years and its always just been chilling on my desk, but anywho I thought the cable just went bad and ordered a replacement. The replacement came, and the issue is still persistant, so I am not sure what the issue is I've tried multiple different headsets and the issue is not with the port, and I also tried it with my windows laptop and...

and that's ignoring the fact that you seem to be the only one here that thinks you're shopping on amazon prime...like i said, lighten up man, you're here complaining about a package that you bought in the interest of saving every last penny you could and it took a few days longer than a normal shipment would to get to you? big whoop.
if you actually cared about the community, your post would be like "hey my package took a few extra days to get here, but it was totally worth it! x,y,z, rocks guys thanks for the drop!" and that'd be it.
seriously, I'm really interested in this "snag in teh system" that you think massdrop should or even can fix here. seems they got it out the door in a timely matter, seems they shipped it the agreed upon method of smart post, seems like you were able to track your package the entire way to your front door, seems like you received the product in good working condition and as expected.....so seriously, wtf is the point your post? where is this snag that you expect someone here to fix? you probably should be writing emails to fedex and usps but my guess is you know how that will go so you came here to bitch instead...because it's all about the community right? lol....whatever man, enjoy your headphones even though it's highly unlikely that you have any joy in your life. lol.
P.S: the above points aren't just about "canada" i've used Massdrop in Canada, US, India AND singapore and it's the same story. USPS or expensive fedex...NEVER cheap DHL.
also once the thing has been shipped it's customary to follow up directly with the shipping company if you have any questions, contacting and harassing the people at massdrop is no good for anybody, people like that are exactly what ruins good communities, as i said before this isn't amazon, this isn't some huge organization with thousands of employees whose sole purpose is to deal with customers, this is small group of people who specialize in niche markets working with manufactures to get us exclusive items at sweet prices, the problem is when you get a bunch like the guy above who can't wait an extra day or two then tries to make it massdrops problem is that massdrop has to invest more time, money and effort in dealing with these people which in turn either pulls them away from working on sweet deals or forces them to hire more people to tell idiots to calm down and just wait a day or two and that drives up prices....... if that goes on for long enough the next thing you know massdrop has a souless CS department like every other company out there and the whole thing goes to shit and is no longer a community but just another website selling shit.
the whole point of my post to the guy above was to just chill out abit and if you are going to annoy someone then try contacting the shipping company directly first and see what's going on, i tend to be a bit of a crass individual, there is no anger in what i am saying, it is what it is, and i while i would be bummed to see massdrop become overly corporate due to the nature of some individuals, i also understand that people by in large are stupid and that's why we can't have nice things and when we do it's why they don't last long....actually getting angry over stuff like that would drive a person to suicide i'd think, lol, nope it is what it is.... and all i was doing was point it out...
