is this thing actually a stabilizer or just a flex tripod? it obv wont do too much for range of motion, but i mean, if its attached to a pole or something will the camera stay level with minimal movement?
ESOTERiC
It's a flex tripod. iStabilizer is just the brand name.

What's the maximum height and how close can you get it to the ground?
Soursword2
4.5 inches is how low you can get it to the ground, and 10.5 inches is the max height.
Is the 22.99 include shipping cost?

If you are in the US, possibly, I don't know, if you are not, no. You should a number under the price tag, shipping to Denmark is 35 usd.
Anyone know what the weight carrying capacity of this thing is? Would it be able to hold a enthusiast/pro DSLR body with a medium sized lens?

It can hold up to 1.8 lbs. Mirrorless cameras are going to work along with normal digital point and shoot cameras. The larger DSLR’s could be too heavy, depending on the lens.

this should be just good for a go-pro .. bottomline
