With all the looks of a Frédérique Constant dress watch and all the power of a modern smartwatch, this hybrid timepiece is breaking barriers. To use it, simply pair it with the MMT-365 app and you’ll get access to easy-to-understand graphics that highlight your movement, sleep, and activity. In addition to step tracking and sleep monitoring, the watch can be programmed for smart sleep alarms that wake you up at the ideal moment—not to mention it can track time in multiple time zones. You can also program the pair to give you active alerts when you’ve been stationary for a long time, which can be a handy reminder during those lengthy days at the office. As far as build quality, the watch is made with a stainless steel case, sapphire crystal, and is water resistant to 50 meters.
The Frédérique Constant names comes from the two great grandparents of each of its founders: Frédérique Schreiner and Constant Stas—the latter of which began printing watch dials in 1904. Independent and family owned, this Geneva, Switzerland–based company puts a high emphasis on design, continually evolving to offer the most innovative technical features in its timepieces. Founded in 1988, it’s been exhibiting at the World Watch, Clock, and Jewelry Show since 1995. Each of its watches is assembled by hand, and undergoes a rigorous set of quality control checks before being finished.
