Product Description
As much a work of art as it is a functional timepiece, the Persuasion Calendar Watch from Frédérique Constant features a rectangular case and an art deco-style dial. The Roman numerals are slightly warped to fit within the constructs of the case, like an optical illusion of sorts Read More

I guess it's quartz hand wind, although a bit stiff to wind and set time, it seems. Anyone else notice this

Does anyone have detail on the warranty and the supplier of this drop? Apologies if this information is somewhere on this page unbeknownst to me. First timer here. Thanks in advance!

Still, feels a little like popping the hood on a 1970 Plymouth Barracuda and finding a Honda engine inside.

Beautiful watch, but Swiss quartz... meh. Not for me.

It is a nice watch though. Frederique Constant tends to price their watches in line with finishing. Some of their watches (both auto and quartz) are rather well made for the price. There are so many garbage Swiss watches under a $1,000. They are one of the few that actually makes some nice ones. It may be that they are 50% made in China, but I would rather have a nicer watch at a given price than one with more Swiss-sourced parts. That is probably why I buy so many Seiko's and German watches.

SkipPeAgree. I've grown fond of JDM Seiko and German brands partly because of the abused use of the term "Swiss Made"
