XE-1 Construction
With an aluminum alloy build to fit the traditional film form factor, the X-E1 has been matched with state of the art technology for the best of both worlds. With a 16.3MP APS-C X-Trans CMOS sensor, the X-E1 is able to produce shots with accurate detail, low noise, and fewer color abnormalities. An EXR processor is quick at 6 frames per second with a 0.1 second autofocus. It includes a jack for an external microphone and is able to shoot 1080p video, providing clear HD capture that can be reviewed on the 460K dot, 2.8 inch LCD monitor.
Image Quality
Both JPG and RAW files are available with in-camera RAW processing. TTL 256 Zones exposure control and an ISO range from 100-25,600 provides high image quality. Film Simulation Modes echo the tradition and look of film photography and reproduces it with simulated tone and color.
18-55mm Zoom Lens
The first official X Mount lens from Fujifilm, 18-55mm Zoom Lens is a versatile, compact option. Built for accuracy and quick response, it has a f/2.8-4 aperture, and a focal length of 27-84mm in the 35mm format. Confidently shoot portraits and landscapes with a wide zoom range. Three aspherical lens elements and one abnormal dispersion element assist in providing accurate detail and rich colors without aberration. The focus range begins at 11.8 inches in wide-angle and measures at 17.7 inches at the telephoto length.
