LazySundaysI would have guessed it was a line-out from the dac, but this page suggests it's a pre-out:

One of the bullet point features is " With preap amplifier function " (sic). And the 4th image has descriptions of the rear panel connectors, for the RCA output it says "R/L output: connect to 2.0 power amplifier".
It also mentions that only one of the usb ports should be connected at a time, connecting both at the same time will damage the device - useful little tip for owners there!
