Product Description
Modeled after popular Cherry MX mechanical switches, Gateron’s SMD MX switches have amassed an impressive following for properties all their own. Often described as “smoother” or “softer” than their Cherry counterparts, Gateron SMD MX switches are great for those who want an effortless typing experience with just the right amount of resistance Read More
I bought Gateron Clear, Yellow, and Green. At 23 cents per switch, sometimes even lower, they are perfect for my need. Each type of switch's actuation force, behaviors, and sound levels work as advertised.
LEDs are soldered to a PCB. That is how the LEDs get power. SMD LEDs are used with hotswap boards. Some LEDs passthrough the switch, this makes customization hard because the switch and LED would need to be desoldered to install new switches
These are the description from Novelskeys. As mentioned Clears are linear and Greens are clicky unless something was changed for these specific versions.

TheWolfLove the 35gm clear switch, it is so light and great for touch typing and not to mention less finger fatigue after long hours of typing/gaming.. I can't go back to anything heavier after getting used to these..
JappaThey do not. These are Gateron's basic MX style switches.
They do produce them prelubed, look for the Gateron G Pro switches. Amazon has them cheap.
