Founded in Cadore, Italy the same year, Giorgio Fedon 1919 began as a high-quality leather maker combining Italian art and craftsmanship. Since, the company has endeavored into new areas, not the least of which is watchmaking Read More
I have a couple Giorgios in my watch collection. They’re big and bold but get a lot of wear. They’re probably my most complimented watches. The size isn’t for everyone though and you’re obviously not getting insane quality or anything but to be honest there’s nothing visibly wrong. They do a good job. One of mine is very similar to the one being sold here but with a slightly sportier face, fwiw
For those wondering, GF watches made by Seiko for Giorgio Fedon. These are essentially Seiko in designer cases. I have a couple of Fedons and the quality is very good as expected from Seiko, not to the Alpinist or SARB series quality, but a typical robust Seiko quality. I think they made in Malaysia.
Giorgio Fedon brand is very popular in Europe and their watches usually go for much more than Drop asking. This is a very good price if you dig the size and like the design.
abb6555Fedon obtains movements and hardlex glass from Seiko factory in Malaysia and do final assembly. I don't know from where their cases come, probably from China or Hong-Kong where their huge factory and watch headquarters located respectfully.
What the hell ever happened to the Brand Spotlight thing?
What the hell ever happened to the Invicta collaboration?
What the hell ever happened to the Watch Department?
And more importantly, what the hell happened to Massdrop?
Not sure if it's a good idea to call a watch "Timeless". Good one, Wonbul!
Man, lotsa presence and a low dollar layout. Gets lots of props yes, while no one notices a Sinn or Fortis. 'Oh. the humanity...'
fishstickxxxI would notice a sinn or fortis or junghans etc and so forth but your talking about real quality watches vs im not really sure some are saying soda cans
ED61It is a shame that something 'good looking' gets noticed, while quality watches are overlooked, is my point. Regular people have no clue about watches but for maybe Tissot, Hamilton, Victorinox, a shiny one, or an entry level Tag - I have owned them all and have seen it. While Domasco, Stowa, Fortis, Sinn, Alpina, and Oris watch brands (personal faves), many have not even heard of.

A 45mm watch with a beefy crown guard is a "dress" watch?
Attractive dress watch with interesting crown complication, seems well finished and with Seiko automatic. Very tempted but just a tad to large for me. Couldn't track down origin of manufacture ,but one model hase same case as recent Heritor that Drop had for sale, so probably China; but at $130 worth the risk if the size suits.
Not if you are a big guy, ...or girl! This is a good looking watch , many have ordered it. But they all are probably big or like big watches. Until i hit my 50's I liked big watches ,they were also in fashion; but I have had to grow up and act like a grownup!! So now I prefer 42mm.
JAoneOh, I'm big and fat, and even moderately tall at 6' 1" and yes the watch looks great, but I'm sick of oversized for the sake of oversized. Like you say, I'd rather have something for grownups.
