I am excited about these knives. I have been researching high quality kitchen knives that are also reasonably priced for weeks. The global knives in this deal were at or near the top of the lists. So when I saw them at $50 below the Amazon price I quickly jumped on the deal. Crossing fingers and hoping for the best!

I have the 12 in chefs knife. It's extremely sharp. It has a unique convex grind so it will stay sharp longer.

phoenixsongPer side, and I'm not sure it's correct anyway. Global classic knives have traditionally been sharpened at 17 degrees, so I'm not sure if they changed or if Massdrop got it wrong

Great price, though it took a while to deliver. All but the chef knife were in great condition. The chef knife came with a rounded tip. It looked like it had been dropped or chipped then resharpened. After sharpening it myself I now have a decent point.

The drop ended almost a day early. Why? 296 seems like an odd number at which to cap the drop.
