Crafted by hand in Yoshikin’s factory in Niigata, Japan, GLOBAL knives are a modern marvel. Known for their lightweight and perfectly balanced design, they feature exclusive blade steel, known as Cromova 18. It’s a blend of chromium, molybdenum, and vanadium that’s ice tempered and hardened. Here, it's surrounded by layers of 18/10 stainless steel for a wicked-sharp edge that will last, cut after cut. Each blade in the SAI series is individually hammered by hand with small air pockets to help food slide off with ease. The handles are perfectly balanced and designed like a traditional Japanese Samurai sword. Four knives are included in the base set, along with a knife block. You can downgrade and omit the knife block, or upgrade and get some extra knives at checkout.
