i love this watch, have the 42 and 48mm sizes, and had to have this one which has slightly less curved outer lugs.
despite adoring it i will mention an issue to be aware of: the 42mm and 48mm have fantastic 60-click bezels which are right on the money. for some reason, glycine's 120-click bezel, which the 46mm has, is not aligned as well as the 60-click glycine bezels. i had to return one of these to ashford because it was off by exactly one click. i purchased another one from another authorized dealer, asking them to check the alignment prior to shipping. they did, and the bezel was set straight up when i received it. it was definitely better, but still about 1/3 click off. while not ideal, i was not going to send it back, but i mention it to all those out there who want their bezel's aligned on the mark. with glycine, if it's a 120-clicker, you have a good chance of it being very slightly off, or even unacceptably off. just be aware.
that said, i love the watch and think it's amazing. if it's not aligned acceptably to you, i definitely would request a better aligned replacement or get somewhere else. i'm not really sure if any of these are perfectly aliged (probably a low percentage) like the 42mm and 48mm combat subs with 60-clickers, but if it's close you might wish to accept it as i did, it's a phenomenal watch and worth it if not too far off the mark.
At $349 it seems MD is meeting the eBay price, beating Jomashops Columbus Day sale price of $350 with coupon code, and beating the crap out that el-cheapo deal Shop HQ offered back in July when they priced theirs at $379, on a five-dollar NATO strap.

Of course on those schmalzy TV shopping channels, they'll let you make 6 payments of $63.22, and pay $14.99 for shipping! This might be a could time to point out, however, that if you're making PAYMENTS on a damn watch, you're doing something wrong!
Still, maybe it's time for MD to adopt the video presentation model to help them hock their watches?!
Could be just the marketing gimmick that puts them back on the map!
Looks like the Invicta Giants have taken over Glycine completely SMH!

Did someone actually buy this at 1️⃣5️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ ? Ever ? If so have them gimme a call, I got a few amazing propositions too ;)
it does look like this is actually a good price for this popular model, I might end up getting one after all !
Hewitt29If you are happy with the 46mm then definitely recommended. There has just been another interesting 46mm watch just released by Panzera,-Fleiger 46, at around $270 usd. running seiko automatic, sapphire etc. for a big watch looks nice; at Panzera.com.au Shame I now prefer 40 - 42mm as both these watches are good lookers and well made at the price point.
Or how to take a perfectly proportioned and sized model and inflate its dimensions to make a frankenwatch of a diver. Invicta power!
Unless you're called Schwarzeneger, do yourself a favour and go for the regular model in 42 ;)
I'm already seeing comments disparaging the size of this watch!
While I agree--46mm is on the large side, I don't think you should let that stand in the way of purchasing an otherwise pretty cool watch.
I think "y'all" just need to open your minds to other ways of wearing your watches!
I say "y'all" because once upon a time, I lived down yonder in the great state of Texas, and Slim, I can tell you them boys do things different down there! Take, for instance, the way they keep their britches from falling down! Now I don't know who first got the idea of wearing a belt buckle the size of a '57 DeSoto hubcap, but you can't argue with the results--Texans are seldom seen with their pants down around their knees (now I know what you're thinking, but Ted Cruz is the exception to the rule).
So don't you fret a moment longer about your wrist size--'cuz I'm here to tell ya Slim, there ain't no damn law says you gotta wear your Combat Sub 46mm Automatic Watch on your wrist--not even in Texas!
Fate.Oneit's not the old logo...the wings was a logo change glycine made prior to invicta's purchase, it was meant to celebrate their flight past, but then was changed back to the original...so the original logo is the current logo. i have both and researched it...the current head of glycine stated this background in an interview
Fate.OneIt’s sellita i doubt they have that many old watches around especially in this many options the eta versions were bought up from glycine direct/ watchguroo about 3 years ago when they were dumping there old stock dirt cheap by guys like myself as I’ve said many times before i was getting gmt 2893-2 glycines for $349
