What is SpaceFN and why you should give it a try
The SpaceFN concept - setting up your space key as a layer switch when held - is probably one of the most useful tweaks in the keyboard hobby. Let me explain how it works. My SpaceFN article on kbd.news made some rounds recently - quite surprisingly given the age of this concept. This piece you're reading is a condensed version of the full post. If you're left with unanswered questions, you'll most likely find the info you're looking for in the original write-up. On my imaginary top list of the most useful keyboard features, tweaks and hacks, SpaceFN would deserve a podium finish for sure. But what makes it so special? In short: SpaceFN is easy to implement, easy to learn, costs nothing, can be used with any keyboard, and can improve your productivity instantly. I will list its benefits below, but can state right at this point that the SpaceFN concept, setting up your space key as a layer switch when held, is clearly one of the most useful tweaks in the keyboard hobby....

LOL. Can't wait 'til the next drop.
You and other idiots who confuse the understanding logistics/business/manufacturing as the pre-req to purchasing something here or expressing opinion are simply as unproductive, harsh, and destructive as you find my comments to be. You refined, suave, professional, and genteel fanboys vomit shit and attack other people with narcissistic comments, and drop f-bombs, and say the dumbest shit possible, not knowing your opinion is as trivial as mine. Because you think someone doesn't behave the way you like or say things you can't agree with, you automatically presume they just don't know better than you do? If so, you are just as trollin' as I am, so thanks for your opinion and you keep truckin' and "you do you" as well. LOL.
Although judging by the language and context of your posting history, you don't seem interested in anything but your own opinions. And while everyone is free to have an opinion, they play no role in the basics of manufacturing, nor should they lead to vitriol and generally bad etiquette. It makes me wonder why you're still here. If you are so dissatisfied, why haven't you moved on to other sites? Do you believe you are influencing others to take the same stance as yourself?
It's entertaining, and little annoying, that I get comments like "you don't get business", when there's NOTHING in my post that alludes such. Which statement suggests that? 1) If the performance of this drop is an isolated event for an employee, she's not getting canned. There's OBVIOUSLY performance evaluation followed by company specific HR processes before anything of that nature takes place - How do I know? Because companies hate labor suits. Wages are accrued and paid in 1-week lag by avg, so assuming this week is MD's pay cycle, s/he will get her check regardless of what happens to this drop. 2) It's also true that there isn't any recourse for this delay/lack of communication. What happened with this drop doesn't have enough merit to ensure favorable ruling in the small claims court. I can't find a single UCC code that's in direct violation from what's taken place here. Neither can a consumer protection attorney. MD has done far less for far worse in other drops. 3) Skipping. LOL 4) People will come back to buy here if MD continues to provide marginal utility that exceeds customers' marginal cost. The fact that they announced delay on the day of est. ship and not provide voluntary/periodic update is what got under my skin, but still not egregious enough for me to not come back.
You claim you made your judgement by the language and context of my post history, but you mean my posts on this drop? A bit biased sample selection for a mfg guy. I am dissatisfied about this drop and this is an isolated event for me. Hell, I am part of Mito drop and haven't said shit on that drop. If this was purely out of some hate towards MD, I'd take it out on ErgoDox or Rama Spinner. Do I believe I am influencing others to take the same stance as myself? Is that my objective? No and no. You and other fanboys are just unhappy about the way I expressed the fact that profiteering of a business usually places inconvenience of isolated sample of customers at the bottom of the priority list, because the business will go on and/or businesses just don't have enough resource for everything.
Thanks for "humoring" me, in fact, I am a bit relieved that you aren't some 25-year old kid with a BS degree from some local for-profit college whose illusion on business is completely based on his/her previous miserable failures on start-up attempts that no VC even ever cared for. I'm so going to regret this post...absolutely cringey, but I appreciate your response and I'd like to demonstrate that I do care about your opinion.
