lomboan58Plate mount. The difference is how the switches themselves are mounted, as PCB mount has more space on the sides than plate mount. You'll also rarely find PCB mount keyboards outside of original Cherry boards. Only reason there are two options to begin with is that they started with making clips for PCB mount switches originally before finally making a plate mount variety (like zealencios).

CyphreI've mistakenly ordered PCB-mounted brackets. Will I be able (may be with some tweaking) to install these on plate-mounted switches? I have Ergodox EZ and Ergodox Infinity keyboards?

qyronUnfortunately the overall length that these extend on the PCB version make it virtually impossible. The degree of accuracy required would exceed the effort to just buy replacements altogether. I can't speak on the overall design of the PCB version itself (its exact dimensions), but the tiny tabs that clip under the edge of the switch to hold itself in place is at the same height as a plate for a plate mount switch.

CyphreThanks for clarification! I guess I'll have to sell them somehow....

qyronor just return them. Pretty sure you can return items to MD, you just have to pay shipping back.

ChitownM2What makes you so sure? Their support explicitly stated "no return" policy when I contacted them.

qyronYou're right. looks like they changed their policy in January 2019. Now you can only return "made by massdrop" items.
